so, you've been playing fake music up until now?
Consider some of these books, in particularly Vol 1, 2 & 3. The matching Play-a-Long CDs are a good practice tool:

If you buy just 1 jazz collection for listening, I suggest the Blue Note 'Blue Book' title.
