It's only money that stops people from getting a good tone aye?
Well that's great, they have the 34inch.. and the 36inch scale length..
My bass is 35 inch!.. so which do i get? just deal with the 36inch?
My Ristola-6 has a 35" scale, the Long Scale set fits it perfectly. I think it's the IN-346 set, if that helps.
To give you a bit more info on the tone of the Superalloy's:
They're not super bright, fresh out of the pack. They sound really balanced, from Lows to Highs, they have a really rich sounding B-string and punchy low mids, the high end seems a bit rolled off, but they still have enough to cut through in a dense mix. Their texture feels similar to GHS Boomers, to me. They don't have as much tension as D'Addario XL's, but their tension is still decent. YMMV.
After a few weeks' playing time, they settle in, and keep their tone for a freakishly long amount of time.
Thanks to Michael-T for providing you with the link from BSO. That's where I buy all my strings, Jason is fantastic. You may also want to ask him about which brand of string will give you exactly what you're looking for. He's a Guru on all things string-related.
And just to let you know, I'm replacing the 18 month old Superalloy's on my bass with a set of Fodera Nickels, after talking with Jason at BSO, as I prefer a bit more string tension than the Infeld's provide. But the tone and lifespan of the Superalloy's can not be beat, IMO. They're a very unique string.
