As much as I personally can't stand them these days, I think a Sansamp RBI might work for you. Other TB users will have more knowledge of what power amp to pair it with.
If you don't want to go with a pre/power setup, obviously the Ampeg CL would also be another perfect choice. Ampeg 4PRO maybe. I've also used and liked a Mesa Big Block.
Keep an eye out for used Ampeg 410HLF, 610HLF, or 810e cabs. Bergantino NV610 if you can afford it.
The Fuzzrocious Demon is always my first suggestion for overdrive. You might also check out the Darkglass b3k or b7k.

Might be worth waiting for the new Darkglass head. That could provide the tone you're after, with the right cab. Impossible to tell what to pair with, but I'd look at Barefaced, just because I've had good luck with their gear and it's pretty light for as loud as it gets. Both head and cabs suggested are European built, so that should help.
If you're playing gigs with FOH, you'll want a head with a good DI out. The Darkglass sound isn't my preference, but if you dig it, it'd be great to have the head and DI out from it to minimize the links in your signal chain. If your doing FOH gigs, I'd also suggest a transparent cab like a Barefaced 12" driver cab or a Greenboy build. They are going to be closest to what's coming out if your DI feed to the house, making you stage sound closer to the house sound.

GK MB800 is exactly what you want. Lots of power, very crisp up top, tons of bottom and headroom. Cabinet, I'll let others with more experience recommend. But a pair of GK NEO 2x12's would sound gigantic, and aren't that cumbersome to deal with. I own both the head and 1 of the cabs, though the head is more for backup as I prefer tube sound and have a SuperBassman (2 channels, 300 tube watts).
Gritty lows with tons of punch and shimmery highs and can push to grind when wanted; that would be a Mesa Titan V12 and a PH810 cabinet. You don't need any pedals or outboard preamps to get that sound.
Seems to me a "dry-wet" blend knob on the effects pedal would be a much more elegant and less costly solution.
One of the big GK heads. I love my 700RB, but if you need louder and cleaner go for 1001RB. I also second the idea of using pedals for dirt. My 700RB goes from slight grit for rock, to metal grind, and doomed out fuzz, all with the click of various pedals. GKs love taking pedals, and with the array of sounds you're going for will likely be the easiest way to get all of those tones easily.
Ampeg SVT tube head with a tweeterless 810 fridge, choice of pros all over the world and heavier than most boy bands.
If you want a bit less cabinet, a 215 oughta be dark doomy.
Isn't EBS a popular choice in the Netherlands? Not familiar with their gear personally, but it's endorsed by a lot of metal players, might save some coin and find used stuff locally.

Less costly, yes. But does not sound the same with all the "noise" still coming out of one set of speakers and the same eq.

If you are talking about carrying around two amps, the dUg Pinnick Ultra Bass 1000 by Tech 21 is the better way to go.. I just made this video tonight of my rig with the Electro Harmonix Mel9 pedal:
for the behemoth tone try find a Markbass Sd1200/SD800. To me they have that ampeg grind and grittyness to get but also have all the cleanliness that markbass are known for. Orion used a MoMark head but these sound pretty similar.
