Need to raise my 15" combo, what do I put underneath?

Amp stands are too bulky. A speaker tripod collapses smaller and you can carry it in a bag, along with your bass stand or microphone tripod. Just drill a hole under your cab and attach a stand adaptor (ebay or amazon around $15) and raise your cab at any height. It is also flat if you'll set your amp on top of your cab.

...or you can use a double amp stand, like those, for your cab and your head.

We used to use these. We'd get them for free the same place (whatever bar we were playing at) that we got our milk crates. Apparently you can buy them! Who knew?

Be careful with that. I have one (that I don't use as an amp stand) that has a bad habit of spontaneously collapsing.

I just used books from way back in high school to tilt the combo, works perfectly. Will get some stand to make it a little more good looking. Sounds way better now.

Well the Schertler can't take an extension cab, and I don't have one laying around either. But that looks like a fine set up you have there. What's the wattage on that stack?

50 watts all tube. With the 2x115's it easily handles up to medium-ish sized club gigs.
