You liked Chakotay and 7 of 9 getting together?I just watched an awesome two parter of Star Trek Voyager "End Game" part 1 and part 2
Older Janeway goes back in time to meet younger self and battle the Borg
Loved it....deep story
7 of 9 makes a relationship with Chakotay
You bet...Very happy for them...You liked Chakotay and 7 of 9 getting together?
Because there isn't one. Sisko is a Commander. Captains fly ships, they dont get assigned to space stations. The best things about DS9 acting were Sisko, Odo, and the expatriated Cardassian tailor Garak. Everybody raves about how cute Dax is, but the real tongue waggers are any time you get to feast your eyes on Major Kira's heavenly dimensions. I could have lived forever without having to watch Cakehole or some of those Bajoran rituals. Sometimes the best actors get suited up as aliens. Tosk was good. A good twist was learning that Dax is best friends with three famous Klingons, who were played by the same actors who played them in TOS. One of the best hostile aliens ever on any Star Trek was the Jem'Hadar. Never cared for the strange metaphysical undercurrents behind the so-called Founders.....I can't even tell you who the Deep Space 9 captain's name.
I got used to him, but I think I liked Malcolm better, and Hoshi the cunning linguist.Commander Trip Tucker was one of my favorite characters, and overall, I really liked the series.
Season 1 is rough (as others have pointed out), but there are a few gems in there...
No it's not. It's like any car, it's fine cruising downhill on the open highway. But hit it with some city folk and some hostile road ragers and things can fall apart quickly. Their ship was like that, ok when cruising along but it couldn't take much of a beating. It's amazing they survived, as fragile as that ship turned out to be. The thing I dont care for is how perfeclty spotless and shiny everything is all the time, even the people. Contrast to Battlestar Galactica where things are dirty and always being worked on, and the people are sloppy and messy and rowdy.I can see Picard's Enterprise being pimped out, but come on. This is the Model T of Federation vessels.
I don't think so.....search google images for "jeri ryan bikini" and you will believe.Think someone has doctored that photo slightly
I think you'll enjoy DS9 but I gotta warn you, the first season is rough in spots. It has what's arguably the worst episode of Star trek, or any tv show really.
??@Gorn
That's not the Death Star, and this series is not leaving my mind unblown (yeah, I know).

I'm just starting season 3. I would say DS9 gives TNG some competition in terms of favorite series.
The season closer in which the Jem'Hadar make an appearance... Phew. Too bad about the outcome. Some of the Dominion stuff is so cool.

The Original Series.Just started watching Voyager hard, it's beginning to grow on me pretty good. The station that airs em doesn't stay in order. I'm gonna have to get back on Netflix.
Saw the Enterprise pilot the other day. They made T'pol seem almost like a robot I thought, though I like her with the longer lighter hair. Instead of her 3 stooges Moe haircut.
I'm slowly slipping down the Trekie worm hole, even Googling stuff to get the back story on things.
Ok now my mister obvious question, what's TOS?
