Hello, I've been trying to make some tones of my favorite metal bassists since my previous tones got deleted by accident, currently I'm not really getting a hold of my tone creating capabilities, mainly with EQ balancing (knowing what is too much) and order of blocks, usually I place my blocks as: Comp/limit, distortion, pre-amp simulator, amp simulator.
My main goal is the Ride The Lightning tone. I know it's overplayed to hell and back, but I really feel that it sounds strongest with something akin to that.
P.S.: Could you potentially suggest other (preferably finger-styled) bassists to look into for tone? I'd be down to experiment!
Amp: Fender Rumble 100
Bass: Player Plus PJ (lefty)
Rig: Bass - Morley Fuzz wah 20/20 - HX stomp - Amp.
