When will Eminence come out with "neo" midrange drivers? It bums me that I have to add a full six pounds to my nice lightweight speaker.

As soon as it makes economic sense. Before they replace midrange drivers that currently have 20oz magnets, like the A8MR, they'll replace the remaining woofers that have magnets anywhere from 30 to 108oz. They're switching to neo to save on shipping costs, so it makes sense to trim the fat where it's fattest first. If you trim 16oz from the weight of an A8MR it only cuts the shipping weight from 5 pounds to 4.fdeck said:
