Neo-Pak 3.5 dB gain @ 2ohms?

I have a neo-pak 3.5 w/ two 8 Ohm 1x12 cabs rated at 100 sensitivity for a total of 4ohms.

How much more head room and volume would I gain if I had GB do the 2 ohm mod and run two 4 ohm versions of the same speakers?

500 watts at 2 ohms as opposed to 350 watts at 4 ohms.

(mind this will only work safely if your Neo has been modified or is a newer one which is spec'd to work at 2 ohms!)

The difference between 350 watts and 500 watts would be about 2dB ish. It wouldnt be 3dB as that would require it being 700 watts at 2 ohms. Not hugely louder.

And i'd say it wouldnt be worth selling your cabs to get the 4 ohm versions.
