Neutrik Timbre Jacks, anyone?

Has anyone had personal experience with the Invalid Link Removed or Invalid Link Removed jacks?

Stumbled across them and was curious what (if any) positives/negatives their "timbre-changing abilities" hold.

What the heck?

We have knobs on our basses, our pedals (if any) and switches, sliders and knobs on our amps.

Why would we need to add additional variables on the cable too? Is this getting carried away?

Who would have guessed that Neutrik would jump the shark?
It doesn't appear to have a battery so no active tone control.
It looks to be a pot (presumabaly with a cap) to act as a second tone control, or, a way to have a variable impedance with passive components
Snake oil in the form of a cable with a knob?
There is no tech specs and all the links lead to the same jive a$$ graph which has no values of the x and y coordinates

Those values will change depending on pickups, pot values and settings, cable capacitance, and amp input impedance. So the graph is necessarily just a generic conceptual illustration, IMO.
