Nevada bassist club

Hey Danny, I'm bummed the Berg NV610 deal fell thru....I even offered more, but shipping
was a problem. So i'm still on the hunt for a cab, been looking at Dr. Bass cabs, they are pretty highly rated check out the DRB2460 here.

Looks like i got a deal working for a Aggie GS 412 monster, this will solve my single cab
delimma. Awww... 4ohms 1200watts. more than my SVT5PRO can through at in bridged in mono! Now a DB750 would work nicley.or go the other way with a crown CA9 amp
and a sweet preamp.Hmmmm.

I emailed Marc at Dr.Bass and almost went for their 412 or 610 cab but they are in the process of moving, and have a long wait list, meanwhile i got an email from the seller that the Aguliar 412 was still available "This was listed as a local sale only" I was all over it! We worked it out with my UPS account and a local pack and ship.YES!
now to save-up some more coin for a new Aggie head.

Yes Danny, keep us informed! As Ed stated "that is great news".
I've been lucky enough to learn how to setup my guitars for the basic things
like neck adjustents, intonation and electronics if ever needed.
But if i ever need a luthier, who do you use in Sac.Ed?
Have you ever went down to "the vault" at bizzare guitars? they have a nice
vintage collection down in the basement.

I have used Jeremy at Roseville Guitar Works. He did my Gibson SG and also works on my son's Les Paul and his wife's Fender P bass. I was very pleased with the work he did for me. Full set up for the Pyramid Golds that I installed. The Gibson came back with a fat sound that was missing and thud in the lower strings that is awesome. He has a web site at rosevilleguitarworks.com. Not cheap, but worth the price and time to get the work done. I have not been down to the Vault. You are the second person that recommended that I go down and look around. I guess the next time I am in Reno I will have to stop in.

Thanks Ed, i will have to look them up at the website and maybe stop in next time i go to the bay area.
I was in awe drooling over all the vintage Fender basses they had down there, and got to play a few of them when i was in the market for a 75' J-bass.

Hello GBass1 and welcome! Your #8.

Anyone play any recent gigs? Or anything else you would like to share.
My band Rockridge has a gig comming up on Sat.26th in Topaz, it will be a first
for me playing there, so hopefully all go's well.
Also, if you know of any fellow Nevadaian bassist hook them up here.

Welcome to Fall in Las Vegas!! 90 and beautiful. I will be back in Reno on Tuesday. It was snowing last Tuesday when I made the commute from Lake Tahoe to Reno. 8" then and then 4' by evening. Looks like we may have an early ski season. More things to take me away from playing.

On a bass note. I have a GK MB210 on order which should be delivered the second week in November. I tried both the MB 115 and the 210 and the LV GC and initially went with the 115. But there was something about the 210 when I went back for an A/B with my Gibson. It is hard for me to describe, just a certain clarity that the 115 did not have. The 210 also gives me the option to add a cab if I need to. Has anyone else tried these amps?
