Nevada bassist club

Hello Ed, Yeah we did get the usual cold spell early this year and looks like we may get a decent winter as well.

Hmmm. From what i've read here..... http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=528864
It looks like you made a great choice.Personally i've never used a GK combo before, but have owned their amps and cabs and they
make some great gear.
The thread above is great to see (Rag) president of GK get involved here on these forums.
Sounds like you may have been missing some of the highs and fast response that the MB115 may have been lacking in, plus the fact of 200W for the MB115 ceramic vs 500W for the MB210 Neo's. and the option to add an extension cab if needed, well done.
Keep us posted when it arrives.
Frank

Thanks, Frank. I am really looking forward to getting a good practice/small gig amp with the ability to handle larger venues without PA support. Since you are in Reno, what kind of music are you involved with? I manage two bar/restaurants there and I am looking to possibly try live music in order to increase the energy around our gaming activities. I figured you might be a good place to start.

Hey Ed,
Sorry to get back to you so late it's been hectic latley. Our band is called "Unusual Suspects"
and we just finished up at Topaz lodge Fri-Sat night it went very well,
people on the gaming floor actually asked if we could turn it up, and thats unheard of
up at the lodge. It looks like they may hire us for new years Thurs-Sat.
We play R&B, mowtown and some soft rock and our leadsinger Sylvia, is soulful
and amazing. We are actually located in the Topaz/Smith area, and have been discussing
playing the Tahoe/Reno area as well.We would be interested in playing at your establishment
Im shooting you a PM.
Thanks,Frank

Thanks, Frank. I will call tomorrow when I get back to Reno from Vegas. I got my GK MB 210 and it is awesome. I can rattle pictures off cabinets and the gain is only at 9 and the main at 10. I hope to get to use it live in the future. Later.

Here is a pic with the old band. I miss that Jazz Deluxe.
Ed. Thats my old setup with the 115,410 cabs

Frank that is a nice looking bass. How are you guys coming with your demo CD? I would like to pitch your group and the CD would help me. I appreciated you and Sylvia taking the time to check out the Pub. Stay in touch. Off to Vegas tomorrow and back on Tuesday.

Hey Ed, Thanks for inviting us out, it was great meeting you and we really liked the pub.
The demo is coming along, but with the break in between gigs and the holiday other members are doing some travling.
Im thinking of getting you a live recording at our next gig coming up on Dec.12th at Topaz Joes.
Your more than welcome to come out if you have the chance, it's located about 2 miles
north off of Hwy 395 (near Topaz lake) on Hwy 208.

Hey Danny,
Very cool, If i was'nt playing in Topaz this weekend i would come out to see you guys.
It's funny because one of our guitarst (Buck) works there at Fundangos, and we are booked sometime
next month after Centerfields in Gardnerville.Maybe we can hook-up sometime.
Have fun and rock the house!
Christmas day isn't doable, but maybe i'll come out on the 26th.
