First of all, get Tubby in the white t-shirt OUT of the video! Secondly, get the guy playing to actually play something that an average player would play. DITCH that pop-snap BULL***T !!! His playing showed NOTHING of what the amp is capable of !!! That was a piss-poor demo.

Yeah, I have to agree here. That guy wanted to showcase HIS abilities (if you want to call them that) and didn't showcase what the amp could do.

That's too bad. You don't get too many opportunities to showcase what you have and to waste it on a Marcus Miller wannabe (pun intended) sort of defeats the purpose of the demo......

Umm....$1,999 (or $2,000 with taxes) - $2,999 (or $3,000 with taxes) is $5,000.

Street is always less than msrp, and $4k is what the guys in the booth told me it would go for.

Back in the 70's, I played through a 360, and fell in love with the dynamics and transient response (and projection) of the horn cabinet. Traditional vented boxes just don't match that. Unfortunately, it's a bear to pack on the road. My question for you all is: have any of you tried compact horn cabinets, ie. Bill Fitzmaurice designs (or others) - and are there *any* that really get down and deliver for that low B? I'm currently using a BMAX-T with a Crown amp and an EVM18, but would go back to a horn box in a heartbeat if I found a lightweight design that delivered the bottom end.

Unique demo.

You can get real bottom end out of an ACME B2. It was the first cabinet since the 370/301 + Cerwin Vega L36 setup(70's and 80's, large stages) that gave me low end. They will not "throw" low end like the horn cabinet does. At one show(large club on the westbank of New Orleans) our manager showed up and said he could hear me 3 blocks away(where he had to park). FOH guys don't like them.

Good for them! And, as I have stated a thousand times in the past - I sincerely hope they sell a million of them!

$4,000 is (roughly) what I paid for my Heritage gear and I'm a happy camper. Hopefully, the Acoustic Gear lives up to the 10 year hype.....unfortunately (and apparently) Flea doesn't seem to think that it does.....
