Ford actually makes Lincoln!
GM actually makes Corvette!
Just my 2 cents.

To me, it really doesn't make a huge difference if Kustom may be the mfg. Actually it's kinda good. Ford and GM both makes cars, it's what they've done, it's what they do.
If in fact, Kustom is the "true" manufacturer of the Acoustic Amplification products and it's not just a license share type of dealio on a given patent or something of the sort, or they happen to lease the Chinese factory manufacturing facility (suited with the appropriately trained and experienced technical work force) to Acoustic or whatever, or Acoustic Amplification perhaps recruited one of the Kustom designers for their Acoustic Amplification line Team and that designer had previously already set the wheels in motion for a similar Kustom design...well so be it. Certainly kudos should been giving to Kustom. Here you go Kustom...Kudos!
That being said, then SUPER KUDOS TO ACOUSTIC AMPLIFICATION!!! for being able to identify a good thing and actually act on it/make it happen. Such as:
- Recruit Experienced Designer talent from various reputable amplifier mfg.'s,
- Secure a road tested performance proven mfg. facility and it's resident talent,
- Identify a market need for "best in working class" (non boutique) quality bass amplification at mortal non-rock star affordable pricing points (btw, all my Sh#@'s still in layaway),
- Put in motion the revival of an almost forgotten Legacy name, "ACOUSTIC", that has always had a stellar reputation for awesome power and tonality coupled with long lasting high quality products,
- Posses the Kahonies to do everything in their power to make sure they can live up to the "tall order" of reviving such a Great name and it's incredible legacy reputation,
- Craft a damn good way to bring the whole thing to market (GC) such that everyone reading this at least is aware that such Great Things can and do exist!
Personally, perhaps I'm somewhat of a cave dweller, but I have not seen a whole hellava lot out there on the "new" Kustom bass amps,

until recently, and that would be here.

And even then I'm certainly not hearing any bad things about them. Comments?
Well, although some may feel differently (btw, that's what this great little TB place is all about), I'm still feeling Really Frickin Amped about my New Acoustic Amplification rig (2 x B200H's, 1 x B410 and 1x B115) along with a more recently purchased (layaway) used Acoustic Control Corp. Model 126 and as sick as I may be (GAS), I'm still, nonewhatsoever, no less excited about the new B600H and perhaps some new cabs when they roll out in the next month or so!
I mean as far as I'm concerned, I got a new Lincoln and a new Vette for the price of a Ford and a GM!
Comments welcome,
Play On!
