New amp and cabs on the way!

So after months of debating I finally pulled the trigger. I have the limited Medusa edition Darkglass m900 and 2 Mesa Powerhouse 2x12 cabs headed my way. Since they're discontinued, I found a shop in Texas that had the cabs on sale, so I feel like I got a good deal @$799 each. Just to be sure, the cabs are 8ohms, so if I'm playing one cab I should run the m900 @8ohms, and if I have have both cabs hooked up, I should set the amp to 4ohms? I've played a single 4x10 for years, so i haven't had to deal with multiple cabs much.

2 8 ohm cabs make a 4 ohm load. Enjoy your new rig!

And when only using one of the cabs, I should set the head to 8ohms, correct?

IDK the DG amp at all, but if it has a setting, yes.
