Haven't tried it myself, but a page or two back here's what was written:

I personally don't think it's super loud for outdoor use myself, but if you had some sound reinforcement behind where you were playing so the lower frequencies could bounce off, it might work along with an acoustic guitar or two. For me, the combo and Super Beetle Mini rig are perfect at-home practice amps. Now take the head from the rig and run it into a separate cab and you might be talking smaller gigs. Just my $0.02.

so combo 3kg about combo and 20kg for battery...:) how many time do you think could work with an 12AH battery? inverter how many watt?thanxx

H, great to hear (and see) you. Man, I can’t believe it’s already been a year since your purchase. Both you and the rig sound terrific. Yep, the combo punches above it’s weight...literally.

I liked what I think was your third tone consisting of a little less gain with the distortion switch turn on. Do you like the compression or not? I like it when I use the distortion because it seems to keep the bass intact.

If ya ever get the chance, try the Super Beetle rig. Basically the same amp in head form with the same eight but in a larger cabinet. Great aesthetics, but it sounds really good as well. It’s making my combo expendable too, but resale is terrible so I’m hanging onto it for now.

Yeah, one thing I left out is the compressor. I usually don't use it, I usually use the amp clean and maybe my CAJ V-Comp tube compressor outboard. I forgot about the interaction between the comp & distortion, maybe in another demo - I'm still having fun experimenting!

The Superbeetle looks cool! I'm happy with the extreme portability of the VX though.

Hey tanjugr, congrats on your new combo. I have it and if your gain is cranked, she’ll let you know. Where are your setting currently at? If they’re up, set your tone controls to noon, turn your gain to say 9:00, and bring up your volume. Do you still hear the hiss?

Then I ask you, is your overdrive switch on? If so, turn it off too. This is just to find out if you still have noise or not. I’m not saying you can’t crank away, but it does give off that soft, tubey amp white noise, but once you start playing you don’t hear it.

Keep us posted.

Actually I have been tried all knobs at all positions and nothing changed. I don't know maybe it is normal for tube amps and just I'm suspicious. I just recorded a short video I hope you can hear it

It's a hybrid amp with NuTube, so it behaves just like any other hybrid amp:

Mine has hiss, but only with Drive on & the Gain & volume turned up.

One man's hiss is another man's, "I don't hear anything!" tanjugr, it's hard to tell from the video, but it seems that there's more white noise than I normally hear, except when like I said, the OD and Comp are both running. If it bothers you to the point where you spend more time listening for it than playing, I'd take it back and ask for a different one. It might be something more than meets the eye. Had you bought it secondhand I'd say not to worry about it, but if you've got a warranty I'd use it. Keep us posted on what you find out.

I bought it from a online store. As you know most of store close because of quarantine. So, after lot of playing and listening last night, I decided to give it back. My other combo Laney RB3 makes me happier :)
