New Amp! which one

Hi, i´m new in here, but i have been reading for a while.


i´m planning to buy a new amp, and i will like if you can recomend me one, i will like this one, Ampeg B200R Blue Diamond 1x15" Bass Combo Amplifier , but i dont know ´cause, i havent found any reference, would you help? is this a good amp ?

i will spend at much 500 bucks

Idk about that amp, but you can't really go wrong with Ampeg. Try it out at a LMS. Take into consideration an Acoustic B200. Acoustic amps rock.

You must choose an amp based on how it sounds to your ears, using your bass, and your fingers. Anything else is just guessing, or shouting out other peoples favorites. The Ampeg B200R is a decent amp, with sufficient power for small gigs. It's limitation is the single 15" spkr, with no chance of ever adding another speaker on. Is it enough?, again, only you would be able to answer that. Oh, and you most certainly can "go wrong" with Ampeg. They have a huge line of amps, not all of them are approriate for everyone.
