New amp?

Hey everyone. Just want to get opinions on a little matter I have. I currently use a Peavey Tour 450 head amp. It has been a great head to me over the years, however I have been thinking about selling it and buying a new head amp. I have been looking at the MarkBass Little Mark Tube 800 or the Orange Terror Bass 500 not only for their way smaller size and weight and easier to transport. Perhaps it could be GAS syndrome, however would selling my Peavey in exchange for one of the other amps I listed be a wise move or should I just stick with what I have? The cab I own is a Mesa PowerHouse 6x10, which I absolutely love. Whatcha all thinkin'?

If you're switching just to switch, doesn't make sense. If there's something you like about the other amps that your current amp isn't giving you, then it makes sense.

I agree with Jimmy that switching for the sake of switching may not make sense, though I've been known to change for the sake of change myself, as I like to try out new stuff. I think they may call it G.A.S.? :hiding:

I owned the Markbass LM Tube 800 for awhile and liked it a lot. Don't expect it to be like a full blown tube amp though, the tube effect is pretty subtle with the little soldered-in tube that MB uses.
