Has anyone played this AMP? Ampeg BA300/115 1 x 15 Bass Combo(Black)
No reviews on musicians friend and none of the local places here has it for me to try out. I have been debating getting it because it is so light and portable vs something like this: Link Removed. Even though I know that half stack would absolutely blow it out of the water power-wise. maybe instead of the 410HLF cab I could go 410HE (which i think is about 20 pounds lighter and has casters?)
300w would be plenty of power for my situation, but if it a piece of junk I would rather go heavier / more power. lol.
Opinions appreciated. It is basically light and unknown quality (although it is an ampeg) vs heavy and known killer. Maybe someone has played the 300... I am sick of buying crappy amps, (i have been pretty cheap, lol), so I don't mind spending a little more.
