I think one of the greatest skills I've ever learned as a musician, is to understand how difficult it is to actually make music. Listening to a trio that I've never heard before, and being able to enjoy the effort and all the little details, is what really makes me love music so much more. I don't even have to like the genre, or the specific song, but when I hear music that is made with passion and motivation, it's always a treat.

That being said, I do also like this specific piece beyond just the effort you guys put into it!

Do you use the ring finger on your picking hand for some of the 16ths?

Not in this case. I sometimes use it for triplets. I messed about with 3 finger right hand technique but found that 2 fingers works better for simplicity and therefore better for me.

It's unusual to see someone playing a bass as vertically as I prefer.
