New Bass? Anyone?

"Look Honey - this goes-into thingy is all loose "
Try that one with your wife and see how it goes over...:p

I guess I *did* make it sound like I'm getting a new bass because the input jack on my current one is acting up. Not true. My fault.

I just want a five string. :D

Also, any input on the SR5/SR7 differences?

NP! Ya just can't give me a straight line like that and not expect me to run with it.

I have 2 Ibanez Sr basses, the neck is so thin, my left hand cramps after playing for a few hours, although they do feel pretty nice.. +1 on the dead spots, on mine its the 3rd fret of the E string, and also there are many spots that are really loud, slightly annoying.... The "smoothness" has a lot to do with your fingers, or pick if that's how you roll -.- . I play really hard and I get quite a crisp sound, but with softer playing a mellower sound can be achieved. I would go with the Used Corvette, I just picked one up on ebay around an hour and a half ago for $760 :)
