I think it's a Squier fretless jazz bass!

good call! I almost bought one of those when they first came out (was going to be my first fretlss as well)....they feel and play nice....they are even BETTER once you consider the price!

I have one of these. I love it. When I'm feeling fretless this does the trick. And anyone who hears it almost always says "nice!". If you read some of the reviews, this is basically the 'cheap" Jaco model. I bought mine new, and had to I think maybe raise one or two of the strings. That aside, it was ready to play out of the box! Congrats and nice choice!
