This is one I've wanted for a while. It's so rare and strange though, I was worried I wouldn't like it. Had a gig opening for another band back in Aug, and their bassist plays a '13 Gold Top LP who graciously let me try it out. I really liked how it played and how it sounded. My goal was to get one of the '13 models, but they are few and far between.
Found this in Reverb last weekend. I was able to make a deal on it less than a day after it was up. 2005 Les Paul Standard Bass in Honeyburst finish.
So it's beautiful, feels well balanced. The neck is different than my Fenders and my '13 EB, but it's nice. Has a nice thick tone without being too dark.
