So I was slumming on a Telecaster bass thread a while back and this guy John posted a photo of his Sonic Blue parts bass and I said something like, "Can I have that when you're done with it?" Be careful what you wish for.
Sweet! I'm in line behind @BlacknWhite. As an aside, I love how Reverend Guitars refers to their version of this finish as "Chronic Blue."
I JUST bought a brand new Baja Series Tele (guitar not bass) for noodling and fleshing out song ideas...same color, same neck wood and all. She'd sure pair well with that beauty. Send her my way when you're finished! Great pickup OP. Congrats
hi bovinehost And now everybody…. Lolipop, lolipop, oh lolly lolly lolly…. Happy NBD! may the bass be with you Wise(b)ass
really nice! love the simplicity and 'minimalism' of those axes...and the color is right. congratulations on your new instrument!
Hey Mr. Bovine, Looking good... have you changed strings? If so- watcha using? (need to delete ‘er from my avatar )... gonna do a Sonic Blue Bronco next!
It was good with the strings you had on it, but I changed them the other day - had at the truss rod a bit, too, and lowered the action a tad. My goodness, it's even more Pbassy with the Cobalt Flats. It really put this bass over the top.
