New bass day!! Rickenbacker!!!

Beauty! Had a flashback to my ‘76 4001… a ‘cousin’ (sort of)… :woot:

My wife surprised me with a brand new Rickenbacker 4003S today. Had to share. It sounds as good as it looks. Very happy guy. The Motörhead shirt is a little cliche but hey it’s a Ric. View attachment 4379135

Although a few Amish learn to play traditional instruments such as the harmonica or the accordion, instruments are not played in public. Thus, singing is usually unaccompanied.
I realize you were joking, but since I live in Amish land I had to post this.

Still thinking about this…you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful caring loving wife. Plus she didn’t buy you just any old bass. She probably did some research and noted things you may have said in previous conversations.

You’re very fortunate indeed.
