We were very blessed in that regard. A lot of folks near us lost everything. Very sad event.

Seriously, I have always thought that FireGlo is the proper Rick color!
Although a few Amish learn to play traditional instruments such as the harmonica or the accordion, instruments are not played in public. Thus, singing is usually unaccompanied.
I realize you were joking, but since I live in Amish land I had to post this.

Still thinking about this…you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful caring loving wife. Plus she didn’t buy you just any old bass. She probably did some research and noted things you may have said in previous conversations.

My first decent bass was a 1976 maple-glo Ric. Wish I still had it - congrats!
Now that is an awesome wife! Congrats, I just recently acquired a brand new Fireglo 4003s myself, so right there with you brother.
