New Bass Day! ("Ripper" content)

I just picked up a new bass. I found it at a shop, and simply couldn't resist. It is a Carlo Robelli Ripper Copy. It plays pretty well as is, but it needs a new nut and a better setup. It seems to have everything the Gibsons have. Except it has a bolt on neck. It even has the Varitone, which is very cool in it's own right.

My regular camera is dead, so you'll have to settle for a cell pic.

where might i find one of these? i just got really excited and cant find a carlo robelli bass anywhere now.

I found this one in NH at a used gear shop. I tried to do some research, but I couldn't find anything about this bass. Not even a picture. I traded an Epi Valve Jr and a few cheap pedals for it. I think I got a good score.

can anyone tell me anything about this bass? i know it was made for Sam Ash by a Japanese maker but I can't figure out which one. the neck plate say steel adjustable neck if that is any help.

THAT looks EXACTLY like my FIRST BASS, color and ALL!

I've been looking for one for a L O N G time. I bought mine new in 1977/78 in Hempstead NY.

Sold it for the real deal a few years later but have been looking for one for about 15 years....should you EVER think of selling, PLEASE keep me in mind!
