Actually, NBD was a couple of days ago. I've been too busy rocking out on this thing and loving it to stop and take photos.

I bought the body and neck from Warmoth. Most of the parts I got here on TB. Others I got on Fleabay. I had it assembled by Tracy Longo here in Ventura, CA. He did an amazing job. This bass is solid as a rock.

Alder Jazz Body in Surf Green
Maple/Rosewood Neck
Lindy Fralin PU's
Gotoh 201 Bridge
Fender Closed Back Tuners
PG, Control Plate and pretty much everything else is Fender
D'addario Chromes

I'd love to help you out, Highway, but I don't have any more photos right now. This color is a ***** to shoot, and these came out pretty decent color-wise. Also, you got to be careful judging color on your computer monitor - no two monitors are alike!

It's good. A little beefier than the stock Fender bridge, but not as monstrous as a Badass.

Thanks all for the kind words! I was kinda trying to stick with the production look (so, no pearl PG as suggested) and as a matter or fact, I am a professional photographer, hence the photos. :)

Unfortunately, I have no sound clips and nothing to record with. As far as cost, I bought most of the parts used here on TB, so I kept it around $1,100 - 1,200. I suppose I could have just bought a Fender for less $$, but I really wanted that aqua color. I make my living working with color, and I really get bored with sunburst and black - especially black pick guards. ;)

Short answer, yes and no.

They're licensed Fender replacement products made by Warmoth. For instance, the neck should theoretically bolt right into a Fender body. However, Warmoth necks are quite different from Fender necks. Some guys hate 'em some guys love 'em. There's tons of info and opinions regarding Warmoth necks and bodies here on TB and on the Warmoth web site.

Does it play like a Fender? Not exactly. First of all, the Warmoth neck is a little beefy than the Fender. The instrument IMO, feels more solid than a Fender. I'm not going to say it's better, but I had it assembled and set up by a very talented tech here in Ventura, and definitely feels like a more "custom" bass for lack of a better word.

Very nice looking bass you have there!! Love the tort guard on the seafoam... Sharp!

Does the neck have steel or graphite reinforcement? Can you comment on the the feel of this neck (steel w/straight 10" FB radius) compared to say a Fender or similar? I'm about to take the plunge into a 5 string PJ build. Considering a standard in-stock maple/rosewood neck from warmoth.
