Man this thing has to be awesome. The Civil War already kills everything else in the russian muff class, so I can imagine the destruction this thing can cause!

I had an [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] which is also a clone of the Coloursound Bass Fuzz with and added mid boost switch (it's quite scooped by default). This should be great if it sounds anything like it!
I have the Micro Fuzz with Mids switch. I did not know it was based on that! Interesting.
Very interesting. I was just about to buy the Civil War and now this pops up! Can't wait to hear some sound clips.
Being fuzz addicted, I'm going to have to try this one. I did try the Civil War, while it was very good, it did not survive the muff wars on my board.
I've owned the Civil War and really liked it. I sold it because I wanted to experiment with more crap. I just picked up a SUF Green Russian a couple of weeks ago and am enjoying the hell out that as well. From memory I think that I prefer it to the Civil War, though I'm certainly interested in this newest offering.

Ordered one of these bad boys from Matt this afternoon. Asked if he could do something to help cut through better and he offer to add in a mid-control. I've found that with recording, the Civil War sounds insanely good but loses some magic when played live with two guitarists.
He calls the Rhinosaur + mid-control = Supa Dirty Rooster. I'll check back in when the pedal arrives. Looking forward to how it compares to my Civil War.

Wow! A Rhinosaur with a mid control sounds very interesting. I'm very much looking forward to your review and/or comments. Sound clips would be awesome too!
So is the Rhinosaur a repackaged Dirty Rooster? Didn't mean that to sound negative...in other words is the Rhinosaur lineage closer to the older/original version of the Dirty Rooster, which from my understanding, was more bass specific? I know the Dirty Rooster was retuned at some point down the road to be more accommodating to guitar. I ask as I have the earlier version of the Dirty Rooster and wanted to see if the Rhinosaur would be more similar or if there are differences between the two.
The Rhinosaur is in the same family as it was inspired by the Colorsound Bass Fuzz but it has a lot more low end throughout than the original Dirty Rooster and is much better suited for bass. I wanted to have a fuzz pedal that was specifically made for bass players as I receive a lot of e-mails asking which pedal is best for bass.
