Well you shouldn't be tempted by the Pedulla Buzz or Trace Elliot T-Bass that uncle Rusty has now from me! How are you liking the Benny? I met you at the Columbus show when you were checking that out!

My pal Ivan Bodley owns a couple Warriors. His latest is a purple flake 5'er with LED's for fret markers, which I dubbed the Little Richard of basses. Personally, I loved the neck but the rest of the bass...eh...but there's no denying it's a class product.

I had a Studio 5 for about 5 years, very solid work bass just stopped playing much five and it had a little bit too much walnut on it. Had to do a little wiring on the pre amp, but no major problems. Good luck with yours! I say its a good buy!

I chuckled to myself as I read your intro to this thread!
I haven't been in Midwest for about 5 years now because I thought they had hit the skids and closed!
I used to go in there constantly in the mid 80's and early 90's.
I played several Curbow's way back when.
The last time I was in was to check out a Warrior because Midwest was listed as a dealer.
I walk in to a nearly empty shop where before it was ALWAYS packed with great gear no one else had. They did have a Warrior and not much else. I figured with Mars (now Sam Ash)and GC going in, they would soon fold. Guess not!
Rusty is still there, huh? He always cracked me up and blew me away with his playing.
I'll definatley have to stop in again.

You should definitely go in there! He has some Warriors, Mike Lull, Suhr, G&L, KSD Proto J's, Ashdown, Trace, Mark Bass, Glockenklang (on the way). He also carries Dingwall, but none in right now. He has some great stuff for the skinny stringers too. Some great amps - Bad Cat, Matchless, Bogner, Groove Tubes, etc.

Plus, right now he has my Pedulla Buzz, and my Trace Elliot T-Bass if you are interested in a great 4 string.

Birdseye Maple fretboard
Rosewood (I think) headstock face
Knobs: Mahogany(bottom)/Ebony pinstripe/Rosewood(I think-top)
Bartolini Music Man style pickup with a slim humbucker at the bridge.
Warrior designed 3 band pre-amp with 3 way mid switch. Very musical!
TEAL finish. Not pretty, but who cares.
Hipshot A style bridge.
Recessed strap locks.
Neutrik locking jack.
