New Bass Store in Sydney!

I went by today to have a "sticky-beak". It's seems to be all systems go. Tradesmen working in the shop fit-out, lots of what looked like speaker cab stock arriving already. The shop itself is looking very nice, and will obviously look even better when it's finished.

See you on opening day!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

I blew in today to have a looksie. Very nice place - I got a brief play of a Lakland fretless (brief because I didn't want to temptation buy something I couldn't yet afford :crying:) and took note of the Thunderfunk and various other GAS items you guys have.

Best of luck, I'll definitely be back when I have some time and $$$.

hey wasp, thanks for the kind words. we have been working our bums off to get the store up and running, for instance i was there till 4am sat morn, Matt (Mr manager) was there till 6, as was Jeff Mallia, setting up instruments and Mr David (i dont like sleep) Burgess pulled an all nighter making sure everything was a-ok for today. Also staying all night with David was Rob, who built the patchbay in the amp showroom. (what does everyone think of it by the way??)

now if you'll excuse me, i need to sleep.. haha

thanks again, Adge..

Glenn and I spent picked that bass up during in the afternoon some time, spent a minute or so dialling in a nice fretless "muaahhh" tone, then put it back on the rack ready for the next person to try it. Sounds like you played it after we found it's sweet spot :)

I spent a good hour or more in there on Saturday afternoon and want to pass on my congrats to all involved, what an awesome job! The shop and all the gear looks great and it's a true wonderland for anyone that loves basses! The amp/cab patch-bay is a marvel of engineering, makes it a snap to try out all the gear available in a short period of time, fantastic!!!

Can't wait to get back in there and try more gear, pity I'm out of Sydney for a few weeks! :(

I thought I should put in my two cents as well..

I would like to congradulate David and staff, especially Adrian, nice to see you know how to dress yourself afterall. The store looks great, very professional and slick. I was impressed by the friendly and professional attitude of the staff as well as the great line of products in stock. I daresay this is just what we needed and I wish you guys every success.

Cheers
