New bass! Yamaha bb424x :)

This past week I had the chance to pick up the new bb424x in vintage white. I've owned a bb414 for quite some time, but couldnt pass up the killer looks and playability of the 424. I've always been impressed with the yammies I've played in the past, and this one did not disappoint. I guess the best part is I didn't have to put any cash out, just a straight across trade for the 414 and an acoustic I haven't played in quite some time. Very under-rated basses I must say.

Yeah, I live in Utah. My bro manages the place, and I told him I was interested in the bass, and he ordered one for the store. Not sure why you cant find many elsewhere. :/

Really nice. The bass has quite a bit mote sustain then I had experienced with the 414, I assume that was a big factor.

I am currently borrowing an American P-bass, but I am currently looking into a new bass and the Tobacco burst BB424X. I love the growl of the P-bass's split humbucker how does it compare?

Can someone describe the neck or give dimensions on it? Nut width? P bass/ j bass? Etc.. I can't find anything from the website other than a 10" radius.

I, too, used to have a BB414. Wasn't real impressed with its tone, though it was a nice bass. Yamaha straightened things out with the BB424X, as far as the tone is concerned.
