new bass

Greetings and salutations. After much ado and researching i am thinking of getting an Ibanez SR600E bass. Does anyone out there in bassland own one and could give me some pro's and cons about whether it's worth it? Thank you.

I haven't owned/played one but I own several SRs, and have owned more in the past. If I needed another 4 (I mainly play 6s), it would be on my radar. The necks are slim, fast and multilaminate, so stable. Fit and finish is excellent, I love ash bodies and it comes with Nordies. Don't see how, if it feels good in your hands that you can go wrong.

Great choice - I've got an SR600 with the older MK1 setup, but this is the new version with the Nordy Big Break pickups, 3-band EQ w/active-passive switch plus excellent QC. I'd like to try one out myself.
