New Basses At NAMM 2008?????

warwick is coming out with a 6 string vette, the nobby (original warwick headlessbass similar to a steinberger), a new hallow body called the star bass that looks pretty impressive, and i think one other thing invilving a streamer. Go to Warwick.de and check out the forums for pics. They are also discontinuing bassically all thier set neck basses.

Why some companies think that they make a really "wow" thing, by adding one string?
There's two ways to "wow" folks... either by coming out with something innovative, or by coming out with something a lot of people have wanted for a long time. This is just a case of the latter.

Thing is, I applaud a company that (at least finally) responds to what their customers want instead of simply dictating what their customers should want. :)

Dingwall is also planning an entry level version of the afterburner, with less custom features:

I love my Afterburner but when I bought it it was right at the top end of what I'm willing to pay for a solid body bass. Thi looks to be an inexpesive way to try out fanned frets

I'm crossing my fingers for a 6 string.
