New Basses At NAMM 2008?????

That's right! What new basses will your shop be displaying at NAMM 2008???

14-string P Bass? Bring it on!! 3-string fanned fret ERB with clip on 7 string neck? Who's got one?

Rumors are abound that there will be a 13 or a 14 string bass floating around as well as a million dollar bass from Jens Ritter (which sports jewel-encrusted lost undergarments from Britney Spears)..................................

I hear somebody is coming out with some cool new bass cab. It has a 2" flytanium speaker with a quad-amped crossover and another 1" supercranium ferrite tweeter good from 2Hz-50KHz. The speakers are installed in a thiele parameter buckeye burl cabinet with brass threaded inserts so that you can take the speakers out and admire the inside of the cab. Supposed to fit inside a gig bag...

Could be a rumor, though...

I know Alleva Coppolo will be showing the new KBP-5. My prototype piece will be the NAMM show piece as well..i cant get my bass until after the show.... :(
He will also have a few other suprizes and guests drop by as well as the Alleva Coppolo custom wound string line for Bass - Guitar and Acoustic.

I'll take a wild guess - a signature Fender Squirer with some Emo's favorite graphic on the pickguard. Someone will buck the boutique Jazz trend and start their line of boutique P basses. The low end basses will begin adding upgraded features moving their prices from $250 to $350 and will be amazed at what you can get for the price and pick up one for a backup. Then it will start getting some actual use.

Hilarious +1. I want a Sadowsky neck on a Pete Wentz body.........LOL!!
