But it's not mine. A friend of mine bought it, but he's reluctant to start threads like this. It's one of the "exclusive" colors from CME, Tahitian Coral. In person this is one of the best looking basses I've seen. And the tone! Ahhhh, the toan!!! Angels trumpets and Devils trombones. So fabulous.

I tried one out once, when a guy with one was looking to trade for an old Epi hollow body I had at the time. It was cool, I just couldn’t figure out how I’d actually use it in a band setting.

I don't know. It's not here now. My friend took it home with him. I got to play it for a couple of days though. It sure seems nicer than the Squiers of 25 years ago.

OK, I got onto CME's site and it shows as "3-ply mint". That has such a rich look to it. Here comes the GAS, again.......
