Hey guys,
I recently became a part of a new project that plays in Drop F# and Drop G turnings. I will be purchasing a new bass specifically for this project. My question lies here however..
I'm going to be using Circle K Balanced 5 string .166s as both F# and G fall between the 35-45 pounds of tension threshold (please correct me if i'm wrong). I know I will need a bridge replacement to use circle K strings that size. I'm looking at a Hipshot style A but found that the 16 mm spacing falls a little short of their smallest Style A which is around .62 spacing. I started looking at Triple lock down bridges from Hipshot as well but I'm not sure if Circle K's will accept well when top loaded. Basically what I'm asking is what's my best bet when it comes to loading Circle Ks this thick bridge-wise. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!
