Gotta ask, as you split time between N.O. and El Paso, where do you spend the summer (brutal)? Lived out west and worked in the desert a bit. Everybody down South says "It ain't so bad; it's dry heat." I try to tell them that 113 degrees is hot without humidity, but they all think they're tougher than the desert folk.

Being completely nit-picky, I would probably have gone with different knobs, but I think your placement of the extra pot is really nice. I've always enjoyed the front-loading input jack, so glad to see you didn't push it off to the side of the bass, as seems to be standard
Also, what kind of EQ section does it have?
