Hey guys, I have just returned to playing bass after a 6-7 month break. Picked up my trusy '83 Peavey Foundation, plugged her in, and noticed a terrible buzz. This buzz only occurs when I'm not touching the strings or bridge.
My first thougt was that I have a bad ground connection, but upon inspection, everything seems to be just fine. I feel like I'm missing something, but dont know where to start.
I wish i could be more descriptive, but I dont know how else to word it.
I was thinking of picking up a new Jazz bass wiring kit from StewMac and start there.
