New Cab recommendations

So My current cabs are finally starting to fall apart, or perhaps I'm just bored with their sound. Either way the GAS is heating up for some new cabinets. I play through a Hartke LH1000 which is currently split in dual parallel mode to a Markbass Randy Jackson 151 and a GK 4x10. I've had the Markbass for about 4 years and it's getting pretty beat up. The GK I bought used and is beat to hell but still works pretty well. Looking at either a single massive cabinet to run in Bridged mode, or maybe replacing one or both cabinets and keeping one as backup. I play 6 string MM Bongos so I do prefer at least one 12 or 15 cabinet to handle the powerful low B string. I recently played through my guitarists rig which is a vintage Fender Bassman amp plugged into a 4x12 Ampeg guitar cabinet and it had a really nice warm sound with lots of low end but little punch. Looking for a nice mix of low end and punch. Without breaking the bank. Let the opinions come forth.

I suggest picking up a Fender Rumble 4x10 with cover and selling your 1x15. Dividing your amp watts among eight speakers should give you more head room.

Save up a bit more and then pick up another Rumble 4x10. Possibly keep your old 4x10 for back up/rehearsal.

Take a look at the TB Rumble club for more info.

I also suggest adding a high pass filter(HPF) like TBr fdeck's to tighten up your six string's low end.

If you can, Check in once you decide.:bassist:
