I must purchase one. A portable tuba, it is! But I need to check: is it active or passive? And does it use a tone steel

I found mine on ebay from Japan, looks like it was made there. Brand name "Tombo", from the leaflet, it looks like there's a whole "harmonica orchestra" in the set...I must purchase one. A portable tuba, it is! But I need to check: is it active or passive? And does it use a tone steel
That's a really cool sound that needs to be used in more recordings.
That looks like a fun instrument! I'd love one of the new Suzuki chromatic bass harmonicas that have the same layout as a standard chromatic harmonica, but they cost a bit more than I could drop on a harmonica...

Well, heavier harmonicas either produce better tone and sustain, or make your arms tired, depending on who you ask....
