Harmonica Day! Wow this thing is weird!

s-l500.jpg

It's huge! As long as my forearm + fist! And it's blow only, no "in" notes.

And the holes are arranged like a piano's - makes it easier for me! (Can't really play a normal harmonica yet).

It's a good bass sound for recording. Like, I would record one note at a time and piece it together in a DAW, or trigger it or something. I don't think I would want to put in the time to become a competent player, that would be like training for a triathlon.
I kinda need to be training for that triathalon anyway...

Is this what was use with the Sanford and Son theme? Listen to the entrance at about 0:04

I remember similar sounds during episodes of Green Acres as well. No telling what instrument was used though.

Oh yeah, the ascending "duh duh duh duh duh" line sounds like it might be one, cool! The other harmonica is a normal one, you can hear the stereotypical "push/pull" sounds. But that low one... :D (edit - just checked, that riff is playable on this, right about the middle of the range, perfect!)

And.... MORE COWBELL! hehe
