Double Bass New Custom EUB

Hello all,
Been a bit quiet round here recently...
Thought i'd show you my latest EUB.
Its a 38" string length (thanks Francois).
Scottish Sycamore Body
Maple Neck
Goncalo Alves Fingerboard.

Still got to drill the Anchor holes and put on the final lacquer but its pretty much done now.

Pickup is a transducer which is sitting under the bridge.

Wel another nice bass from you my friend.... u are really a work horse... I can't see the detail on ur peg... it look solid black but in the other pic is more like ebony or very dark walnut

The pegbox is maple --- with a rosewood stain.

Got it strung and wired up....
Plays and sounds fantastic, definately the best yet.

The under-bridge piezo transducer has worked really well and definately has more of a DB sound, no string balance issues either.
Also very pleased with the string length (38").... as im more a BG player,i find it really comfortable and natural.

Just the final coats of lacquer to finish it.

MDF Stand ..

I just wanted something that the bass would sit in (Instead of directly attaching via an ugly backplate).
Works well

You may want to damp the strings after-lenght between the bridge and saddle, maybe.
(to avoid some ringing)

Nope its just wired str to the jack.
