New Digitech Bass Whammy?

I'm getting a bass whammy and a molten Voltage accessory pedal

Heh I just heard about the re-release of the whammy. I was fortunate enough to get my original bass whammy pretty cheap but I want to know how this one sounds too. My original one is kinda beat up. Videos on youtube sound better than the original for higher octaves.

Damn, thats after my birthday, is there any alternatives you'd recommend?

Line 6 M Series and an expression pedal. Any interval between -2 and +2 octaves with as much or little clean blend as you want. Tracking is solid. It won't do chords like the new model though.
