No sir. Actually, I just googled him and he seems more than a little up my alley, but my fantasy author of choice remains Mervyn Peake, though I also enjoy some Lovecraft & L. Ron Hubbard (the science-fiction only... Fear is one of the best horror novels ever).

Frankly I don't see the need for an expression pedal, I think it gives you enough options now (adjustable slow times, latch mode) that it's sort of unnecessary.

I'd ditch the slow & fast modes for a treadle control... but I think we're looking to get different things out of it. I'm looking at this from a fairly narrow spectrum (think Boris's Feedbacker), and for that I really don't need the speed-dependent modes.

It's cool either way, because I'm sure next week they'll release the Uber Freeze in the XO size with Attack and Decay controls and an expression input with a switch to control which parameter it goes to.

Yeah international shipping is cheaper as well now, I don't know I've had a drone looper before in the DD-3, never played with the Hog to know if this is useful.

I know what you mean,... good price,... but can't really see me putting this in any of my band songs,... and my solo stuff there are so many other pedals I still haven't fully utilised properly yet that I don't know if I can deem another pedal worthy...

If there is going to be a Fall GTG, I'll almost certainly be there- barring the Freeze sucking or me managing to get an Axe-Fx that would replace it, I'll bring it with me.

it probably uses a new-fabrication BBD chip, so let's cross our fingers and hope it isn't as noisy as the Nano Clone was. At the very least, it should be easily daisy chainable - that would almost make the noise tolerable

I play a Martin acoustic bass in a Celtic band and have been looking for a way to create epic bass drones. I wonder if this pedal has the frequency range and will help. If not please give suggestions.
