New El Camino?

I don't like it. And the more I see the new Camaro the less I like that.

F**d and Chrysler are doing a much nicer job on the retro styling of the Mustang and Challerger than GM has done on anything, imo.

we've already got it out here - GM holden commodore ute. (this one is an hsv)

The "new" El Camino looks somewhat like a ricer IMHO.

I am sooooo jonesing for the new Camaro. I'm tired of seeing Mustangs prowling around like they own the streets. The thing is that most around here are driven by girls.

Not in Ottawa. Makes me feel fast when I blow by a new Mustang GT when I am going 110 in a 100 zone. Seriously, I think you have to prove you are a senior citizen before you can buy a Mustang :scowl:

It's like a Harley. If you are passed by a Harley here, it is time for the retirement home.

I do agree on all aspects except the new Elkie. I love it.

I'm not a huge fan of the new Camaro, but hey.

I liked the Mustangs, I LOVE the new Chargers. However, I see too many old ladies driving them. They're way too common.

+1000.

The only real reason I like the Camaro is because it's a Camaro. I think they're playing it safe by styling it after the '69, but it's too predictable. I would have loved to see a retro '70 Z/28 personally. John Moss has some great ideas in the Special Vehicles Division, but GM seems to really water down them down.

I LOVE my friend's Holden GTO. When he first got it, he showed me pics of a potential El Camino (the Holden Ute), and I've been hopeful ever since. If I thought I could fit any gear into a GTO, I probably would have bought one by now. I'm stoked to see the new Dodges and this, if it's going to happen.
