New EMG Robert Trujillo Signature Pickups

Not sure what you mean.
From the website:
"The pickups are designed for traditional 4 string jazz bass spacing and are suitable for narrow 5 string instruments."
From the ad copy these are a standard EMG J set (if it ain't broke don't fix it) with those slick slick stainless covers. Very nice aesthetic!
I guess everyone in Metallica needs their own signature EMGs.

The covers look really cool.
Looking at the specs, the only other difference is the RT pickups are not as tall as typical EMG J pickups. .75" vs .90". That can be a dealmaker for some basses.

Larson shouldn't be jealous as He had the first signature out of any of them.His Tama Artstar kit was the first signature kit Tama ever did.
But those other guys don’t have the Lars St. Anger signature (non)snare drum...
Tonally, the RT spec sheet is identical to the J set.
Curiously, the battery life shows 1000 hours for RT and 3000 hours for the J set. Also, the pickup height is .750" for the RT and .900" for the J.
