Hi all! First post here.
I’ve preordered my Aria Pro II Cliff Burton signature model and can’t wait for it to arrive. Wanted to see if anybody else who’s preordered has received it yet. If so, how is it? How does it play, sound, feel? There is very little user reviews online about it.
Very Good condition Warwick Streamer. 4-string. Thru-neck. Artist Series - Robert Trujillo. Made in Korea with all German parts. Bartolini preamp with active / passive push pot. Excellent bass!
*NOTE* small damage to finish (chipped lacquer) on both sides of nut. I put super glue in it’s place...
For those of you who don't follow collegiate sports, Virginia Tech started using Metallica's "Enter Sandman" 25 years ago now, to get the team and their fans pumped up before games.
It's kinda' turned into a big thing over the years, and finally got the attention and I guess approval of the...
this is my birthday album and it has my favorite Metallica music in it, im not a massive fan but i just hate the sound of AJFA (thanks lars) so i remixed/remastered Blackened. I need thoughts, so for all my metalheads, what do you think? all feedback is appreciated, no matter the criticism...
Hi, I am a bass player who has been playing for about approximately 7 months. Lately I have been using a pick and playing some jason newsted lines. I am learning king nothing and the intro is really crappy on my end as I cannot mute the e string when playing the d and a. When I play fingerstyle...
Hi fellow bassists (and first ever post). I'm playing For Whom The Bell tolls, but my guitarist keeps insisting that the fuzz in my fly rig is lacking and to go for the big muff.
Has anyone been successful in reproducing the sound with the fly rig? What were your settings? Am I missing maybe a...
I remember watching a video, probably from andriy vasylenko, talking about cliff burton's pedals or something like that, and he played an audio recording of cliff burton playing for whom the bell tolls live with an ibanez hd1500. Ive looked everywhere but can't find the audio nor the video. If...

One of the best models from the company that perfected the modern electric bass. Comes with OHSC, paperwork, and original black tuners. The tuning pegs and control knobs are not original, but original knobs are easily purchased direct from Alembic. If you like Jason Newsted this bass is for you...

So I love Orion, possibly my favourite piece of music ever. I may get my next bass January or Febuary next year. I currently play a 20 fretter and for my next bass I’d love to get, say, the design of a Stingray or Jazz, with 24 frets. But of course, in my price range that is non-existent! I love...

Stay tuned for the next videos!
PS strings and set ups are still the factory ones after five months of use!
A YouTube bassist just released an all-bass cover version of the song 'One' from Metallica's 1988 'And Justice for All' album, known to shun the bass.
Someone's covered Metallica's 'One', but with all the parts on bass
"A YouTube musician has shared a new cover of Metallica‘s classic track...

I have been playing bass for a very long time, but I don't know much about music theory. Some people have told me that I don't have any issues with time in my playing. I play rythms by feel and don't think about anything when I play.
But...
Sometimes I come accross rythms that I just can't...
So I got the ZOOM B1X Four and I wanted to play the bass classic "For whom the bell tolls". I can chain up to 5 effects, do you have any suggestions how to get that tone? I'm kinda new to it so every help is appreciated! Thanks
I did a silly video that, pretty much makes fun of the lack of bass on "...and Justice For All". It's been done before, I know. But still - hope that it's enjoyable. I giggled a wee bit whilst editing the video, to be honest with ya!
Hi everyone. First off, I practice a lot and I would love some feedback on this. Being 21 and constantly around sh* t music... Most of the people that i know and see would never even be able comprehend the musical phenom Cliff Burton was, and do not care about my bass playing or anything like...
How hard is the album to play
Like what's the easiest song.
I know the hardest is anesthesia.
Thanks
Another one would be what's the easiest tallica' album over all.
I will continue uploading this kind of videos, so keep in tune. Please SHARE the video, it helps a lot. SUBSCRIBE to help to widen the love for bass guitar, and also to encourage me to make more content.
Hi, I am very new to effects and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction on my effects setup for the intro to the Orion song by Metallica :)
I am also very new to the forums, I am not sure if I am asking my question well.
I think I just need to set up my Boss MS-3 Multi Effects...

Anesthesia Pulling Teeth was a song released by Metallica in 1983 as part of the Kill ´Em All album. It was an amazing solo written by the legend Cliff Burton. Starting at half of the song we also hear Lar's drumming...
