New England Fall 2011 - Official Gear Thread

I should be settled into the new job by then. Anyone willing to carpool from the watertown/boston/metro west area? If I end up making it I'll bring whatever people express interest in:

Ritter Classic 5
Zon Sonus 5
Modulus Flea 4
Berg HT210, HT322, NV610
Markbass F1, Read Purity pre w/CA9.

It has been a while, things are going well. All done with school & starting my new big boy job next week. I can def. bring the Read.

I would love to to take the modulus for a spin.

Sure, I put an Audere it in awhile back & prefer it to the Bart. that was orig. in there.

Definitely interested in the Ritter

:bassist:

I have another toy I just picked up I'm going to bring - an EBS Drome 1x12 combo. SOmetimes you can find something nifty at GC (thus justifying why I still go in and look from time to time). Sounds great, loud, light. Unfortunately I discovered the gain knob causes crackles when I turn it, going to see about getting them to knock some money off due to it. (unit works fantastic otherwise)

(Mod edit: see post below.)

In another topic I was wondering what folks thoughts are on having gear for sale? I have a couple basses I'm looking to part with so I could bring them along with a price tag and maybe find them a new loving home. Would this be ok with folks?

Yep its not a problem.
There will be direct sales at the event for a product that I'm demoing actually and possibly other stuff as well :hiding:

However we cannot get into detail on the thread because that violates talkbass policy.

If I can get it across the border, is anyone interested in trying the new Acoustic USA 360/361 and 360/361m?

Yes I would...As someone who plays bass in RHCP tribute it would be interesting since He is using these now.

I also have some gear I might be interested in selling. Is there somewhere we could put a list up of what might be for sale? Possibly on the GTG web page?

I would just list what your bringing and then tag it once you are there.
