New fangled B-15 project.... needs help!!

rear mounted for sure and the holes for fasteners (bcd) from eminence delta to the Fatail 15pr400 are off by over 1/4"
so a new set of holes would be required if the results were not up to snuff....

Interesting that there is so much of a discrepancy in hole positions. Faitals have been installed in early 70's era B-15 cabinets (the Thiele ones) without any issues. Shoehorning seems to work.

You could also add the regular 3015. The only one I'm sure will sound like Garth's vid or close to it is the Delta 15a. I've never used the others. Have heard recordings of them in other cabs...the Faital is brighter than either the Delta or 3015. But I've always wondered if they would sound good in a B-15 cab. But for some reason, every single neo I've heard in a small cab comes across to me as very upper midrangey, so I haven't really wanted to take the leap of faith and spend the money on finding out when I'm quite satisfied with the Deltas.

Jimmy the way you like the Delta, i like the Beta every bit as much in my BT15 cab. it recently replaced a blown Kappa Pro 15. it's not as efficient as the Kappa but boy it trumps it all day long for old school B15N tone, holy smokes. this thing has Tone! unlike the Kappa it seems to have been designed for small boxes, and boy it shows. i suppose modern slap and flat eq types would hate this speaker, because like a real CTS 15 it's pretty darn dark on top, which i personally love. the mids are perfect, clear present and very even. the low end seems just right; fat as hell but not overblown like the Kappa could sometimes be. stamped frame and at least 8 pounds lighter (maybe 10) than the cast frame Kappa, which i sure noticed that the first time i lifted the cab. 400 watts 4.0 Xmax compared to the Kappa Pro's 300 and 3.2, which is nice. best of all it's half the price of the Kappa; $84 plus free ship from US Speaker. if you love the old CTS tone the Beta is a must audition, along with the Delta of course. a real sleeper of a speaker for B15N fans, and it's Fliptop's favorite as well. flippin' Fantastic speaker
