Looks a bit less doofy than the Gibson EB bass. Sounds similar. If I hadn't bought an EB earlier this year, I might bite.

Maybe so. I'd be all over a p-bass with this electronics package. Only because a p body is my favorite shape.

I'm a fender fan boy and all I can see is MusicMan with Gibson pickguard and fender head stock. I want to like the look but can't. I'll reserve judgement until I get a chance to play one.

No, played the American Dimension IV HH and it did not. Close to sounding like an MM Sabre though.

That's weird. I just figured they would go the same route with the Modern Player version at 1.5", but all the higher end models say 1.625" on the spec sheet.

Pickup combo reminds me of the reverse Jaguar, but with different pole pieces.

Meh, I don't like the combo of the symetrical back end with an offset waist. They should've made this the bass version of the Marauder guitar instead.
