New five string storage

Hi,

Purchased my first five string. It's an MTD AG Kingston. I need a case - Are any cases available to store this bass long term safely (protect neck, etc.) other than a hard shell?

I would ask yourself why you want to store the bass and not play it...

I have all my basses out on stands or racks, and rarely in the case. There are a couple I hardly ever use and keep them in the closet in a case just to save space in my studio. But the case has nothing to do with anything other than somewhere to put the instrument.

I wouldn't worry about protecting the neck. It's a bass, it's tough, it's meant to be played and not kept locked away...
